Ageratum - Artist Rose

The Ageratum Artist Rose , 'Ageratum hybrid', has beautiful rose colored blooms. This Proven Winner plant is able to renew itself continuously throughout the season by over-growing old blooms with fresh colorful new blooms. It is also exceptionally heat tolerant. The Artist Rose has an open habit and will add texture and mid-height interest in large containers or landscapes. They produce radiant clusters of fuzzy flowers, early and on even compact plants. They flower May through October and are a low maintainence plant. Ageratum are great for borders, containers, and rock gardens. For zones 9-11, this plant can also be a perennial. ... more info

 

Hot Peppers - Jalapeno M The Pepper Jalapeno M, 'Capsicum annuum' is popular for Tex-Mex dishes and for pickling. The dark green fruits can be left on the bush to mature to a fiery red color. The fruit grows to a length of three inches. Jalapeno M has fruit that is slightly larger than Early Jalapeno and it is the most popular variety in Mexico. Transplant outside in the spring 3 to 4 weeks after last frost date. Peppers use quite a bit of water but prefer to be watered deeply and not too often. Use gloves and do not touch any other part of the body after harvesting.
