The Baby's Breath Covent White, 'Gypsophila elegans 'Covent White', has graceful, airy flowers that are used for contrast in cut flower bouquets. The contast they add to large, colorful flower arrangemnts is stunning. Baby's Breath is an easy to grow annual and they provide clouds of white 1/2 inch flowers. The plant lives and blooms for 4 to 6 weeks. For a continuous supply of flowers all summer, sow seed every 2 to 3 weeks. The dazzling white flowers will continue into fall in warm winter climates. The Covent White prefers full sun and alkaline soil. In areas of acid soils, add lime to the soil. They are drought tolerant and once established, the soil should dry out between waterings.
