Begonia - Double Hanging Basket - Apricot
The Double Hanging Basket Begonia Apricot, 'Begonia Pendula', is a spring planted tuber that displays multitudes of beautiful orange flowers. These world famous Belgium bulbs, the finest imported strain of Hanging Basket Begonias, are now available to the American market. The flowers are fully double in bright, non fading colors. Adds floral beauty to porch, patio or window box. Pendula Begonias, sometimes called basket begonias, have smaller flowers than upright begonias, but what they lack in size they make up by producing great numbers of blooms. They are absolutely gorgeous in hanging baskets and they last for many months. Pendula Begonias need protection from sun, rain and wind. They also require more water than other begonias. Weekly light fertilization will also assist in keeping the blooms healthy and vibrant. Pendula Begonias cannot dry out when they are in full bloom, daily watering, or twice daily watering in very warm weather may be needed. ... more information
Geranium - Southcombe Double There are only a few double-geraniums in cultivation and don't look like a Geranium at first glance. Southcombe Double blooms almost non-stop throughout the summer, into fall. Geraniums are grown in almost any soil as long as it is not wet. They are perfect in the perennial border and work well as a ground cover too. |
