Geranium - Cinereum Ballerina

The Hardy Geranium cinereum Ballerina, 'Geranium cinereum', displays lilac pink flowers with dark veins, a purple center and bloom from June-September, provided it has good drainage. Only reaching 5 to 10 inches tall, these low growing mounds of dark green leaves topped with pastel blooms make geraniums an unequaled addition to the perennial border. It is best to lift and divide large colonies in spring. It is an excellent low-growing perennial that is both rabbit and deer resistant. Geranium - Southcombe Double Geraniums are grown in almost any soil as long as it is not wet. They do best in sun, but will tolerate some degree of shade. This plant would look wonderful in a pot on a sun-drenched porch and is also deer resistant.
