Grass - Bunny Tails
The Grass Bunny Tails, 'Lagurus ovatus', is wonderful for flower arrangements. The furry flowers are practically shatter-proof. Kids love the flower heads. Bunny Tails forms an upright fountain of charming soft and fluffy flower heads that are as soft as an actual bunny tail. The 2 inch long flower head are dense, pale and feathery. The flower heads appear in late summer and they are light green, turning to buff. Bunny Tails will grow in full sun to light shade locations. They will withstand poor soils but will do best in average fertile soil. Plant in the spring, 3 weeks before the last average frost date. Dill Dukat The Dukat Dill has small. yellow flowers in a 6 inch wide upside down umbrella shaped flower cluster. The primary use for Dill is culinary. Fresh Dill leaves are sprinkled on all sorts of food including potatoes, lamb chops, tomatoes, squash, salads, sauces, grilled salmon, eggs, spinach, cucumbers, and green beans.
