Hosta - Francee
The Hosta ‘Francee’, Hosta fortunei, has heart-shaped dark green leaves with narrow yellow changing to white margins. The lavender flowers bloom from July to August, however, Hosta’s are not known only for their flowers. With a plant height of 18” and a spread of 36-48”, Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage. Hosta ‘Francee’ needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained area. Crocosmia - Lucifer Its bright, flame-red flowers stand out from the rest. Being the hardiest members of its genus, the sword-shaped foliage adds to any landscape. ‘Lucifer’ has a plant height of 36-42” and a plant spread of 30-36”. It does need a well drained site and full sun, but will tolerate morning shade. ‘Lucifer’ blooms in late summer to early fall, June through August. |
