First Editions™ Light-O-Day® Hydrangea, Hydrangea macrophylla 'Bailday' (PPAF), features stunning, pure white variegation on its foliage that will brighten any border. Perfect with other small shrubs and perennials, Light-O-Day has large, lacecap blossoms that will be either pink or blue, depending on the soil. (Acid soil produces blue blooms). Attractive fall color and fruit give this shrub good ornamental value for a shrub border. Easily grown in average, medium wet, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Tolerant of wide range of soils. Best fruit production occurs in full sun. Spreads by root suckers to form colonies.
