Jacobs Ladder - Brise dAnjou
The Polemonium ‘Brise d'Anjou Jacob's Ladder’, Polemonium caeruleum, has variegated, fern-like foliage and large, single, light violet-blue flowers. The light violet-blue flowers open to bright yellow, adding delightful charm to its foliage. ‘Brise d'Anjou Jacob's Ladder’ blooms from June to July with a plant height of 18-24” and a spread of 10-12”. ‘Brise d'Anjou Jacob's Ladder’ needs to be planted in a full shaded area but will tolerate some morning sun in a well-drained area. Lily - Blackout (Asiatic Lily) The Asiatic Lily Blackout, 'Lilum ‘Blackout’, has extremely dark red, almost black, flowers that produces 4-5 flowers per stem. The dark green foliage makes a great contrast with its flower color. ‘Blackout’ has a plant height of 36” and is one of the newest Lily’s on the market today. Cutting the pollen off the middle of the flower, not letting it touch the flower, will increase the bloom time on Lily’s.
