Licorice - Splash
The Licorice, Splash, 'Helichrysum petiolare', has foliage that is an evenly variegated pale green and white. This plant will let you do a little to get a lot. Licorice plants are exceptionally easy to grow, requiring little fertilizer. The Splash Licorice is a bushy but compact grower. This plant is an excellent choice for hanging baskets or mixed containers. It's especially useful in mixed containers as it tends to grow outward which makes a planter or basket look larger. Licorice do best in a well drained soil, either in beds or containers. Splash Licorice produces small flowers that are insignificant and can be removed. Fuchsia - Autumnale The red sepal/purple corolla flowers perch on a splendid trailing Fuschsia distinquished by pure gold leaves flushed with purple and orange. They are great plants for greenhouses, window boxes, baskets, homes, and flower beds. Fuchsias should be planted in warm, sheltered spots in well-drained soil.
