Lily - Blackout (Asiatic Lily)

The Asiatic Lily Blackout, 'Lilum ‘Blackout’, has extremely dark red, almost black, flowers that produces 4-5 flowers per stem. The dark green foliage makes a great contrast with its flower color. ‘Blackout’ has a plant height of 36” and is one of the newest Lily’s on the market today. Cutting the pollen off the middle of the flower, not letting it touch the flower, will increase the bloom time on Lily’s. Blooming in mid to late June, ‘Blackout’ should be planted in full sun and in a well drained soil. It has a plant height of 3’ and a plant spread of 24-36”. ‘Miss Oklahoma’ should be planted in full sun and in a well drained area.
