Lily - Toad - Purple Beauty

The Toad Lily Purple Beauty, 'Tricyrtis formosana', exhibits beautiful orchid-like florets lavishly speckled in vivid royal purple. It blooms profusely in a moist shade garden, producing dozens of florets on each stem from July through August. Toad Lilies are great for the shade garden where they tower gracefully above other perennials, like ferns and Astilbe and Hosta. Prefers some shade, especially in hot climates, and performs best in rich, moist soils. These toad lilies are interesting plants. A more accurate common name would be toad orchids because their small flowers closely resemble these blossoms. >/p>. ... more information

Geranium - Southcombe Double There are only a few double-geraniums in cultivation and don't look like a Geranium at first glance. They do best in sun, but will tolerate some degree of shade. For the most part, cranesbill are long-lived and do not require a lot of care. This plant would look wonderful in a pot on a sun-drenched porch and is also deer resistant.
