The Nicotiana Indian Peace Pipe, 'Nocotiana sylvestris', is a bold, dramatic plant that is very fragrant. At night, the very fragrant 3 inch long flowers will waft their perfume into your open windows. For the lover of white flower plantings, envision Indian Peace Pipe growing with a multitude of other white flowers including Alysum, Candytuft and Baby's Breath. The Indian Peace Pipe produces numerous 3 inch long trumpet-shaped white, pendant flowers. This plant flowers from mid to late summer until first fall frost. The Nicotiana prefers full sun but will tolerate light shade. They also prefer a fertile, slightly acid soil.
