Non Bell Sweet Peppers - Cherry Pick

The Sweet Pepper Cherry Pick,'Capsicum annuum Hybrid', is a high-yielding, sweet cherry variety that is perfect for pickling. The round fruits are extremely uniform with excellent flavor. Cherry Pick peppers detach cleanly for easy pickling. The hybrid Cherry Picks offer more uniformity in size than the open pollinated cherry peppers. The peppers can be used green, red, or halfway in between. They are Tobacco Mosaic resistant. Transplant outside in the spring 3 to 4 weeks after last frost date. Note: To get a jump on the season transplant outside, use a walls-of-water or some black plastic to maintain and increase temperatures. Plant in average garden soil with sufficient organic matter. Peppers use quite a bit of water but prefer to be watered deeply and not too often. ... more info

Daisy - Think Pink The Daisy Think Pink, 'Argyranthemum frutescens', is a fantastic release from Proven Selections. The Think Pink exhibits fast growth and is wonderfully floriferous grower for baskets, borders, and landscapes. Think Pink has a compact, mounding habit. The bright pink colored blooms are very attractive. Daisy's require a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil and should be kept well watered in the summer. Daisy's may be used as a cut flower and they are excellent in window boxes, pots, and rock gardens. The daisy is attractive to bees, butterflies and/or birds, plus they are resistant to deer. These daisys are winter hardy to USDA Zones 10-11 and they are grown as an annual in other cooler climatic zones. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage additional bloom. The deeply cut, dark green leaves are aromatic when bruised. For zones 9-11, this plant can also be a perennial.
