Petunia - Supertunia ® Red
The Petunia Supertunia ® Red, 'Petunia hybrids', are brilliant in color and are very low maintenance. The Red has beautiful red flowers. Supertunias are a vigorously trailing species of an everblooming, long-living petunia from Australia. They will provide long-term color in full sun areas throughout the season, and can grow nearly an inch a day. They are ideal for baskets, beds, balconies and combination plantings. Supertunias are very heat and drought tolerant once established in the ground or pot. They do not need to have their dead flower heads removed to continue flowering and they are not leggy. Supertunias grow fast and therefore need ample moisture and fertilzer. For zones 9-11, this plant can also be a perennial. ... more
Tomato - Supersweet 100 The Tomato Supersweet 100, 'Lycopersicon lycopersicum', is a staked hybrid plant that produces long strands of up to and over 100 super-sweet flavored cherry tomatoes. The super sweet tomatoes are 1 inch in diamter and they are extra-high in Vitamin C and great for salads. Supersweet plants will bear throughout the season and require staking or caging. The fruits are slightly larger than a cherry tomato and they have exceptionally good flavor. The tomatoes hang like bunches of grapes. Tomatoes should be planted outside after the last average frost date. Tomatoes prefer well drained soil that is high in organic matter. Soak to depth of 6 to 10 inches when watering. They need at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. |
