The Tomato Cherry Rainbow Mix, 'Lycopersicon lycopersicum (Hybrid)', is a beautiful mix of unique, tasty, fun gourmet cherry tomatoes. The rainbow of colors include orange, yellow, brown, red, green, white, pink with white stripes, and bicolor. The mix contains, Sundrop, Miribelle, Brown Cherry, Sweetie, Green Grape, Green, Super Snow White, Color Cherry and White Striped. Rainbow Mix is an intermediate tomato which means they continue to grow indefinitely until frost. Tomatoes are generally started inside. They may also be seeded outside after the last average frost date. In warm winter/hot summer areas, tomatoes can be planted in early fall for winter harvest. Pole Tomatoes prefer well drained soil that is high in organic matter. Tomatoes need at least 1 inch of water a week. Soak to depth of 6 to 10 inches when watering. For long hot summers, nothing beats zinnias for brilliant bloom color and long bloom period. The Canary Bird Zinnia is an annual plant that produces the best flowers in full sun. Zinnia elegans prefer rich, deep and well drained soil. For best results mix a high phosphorus, low nitrogen fertilizer in with the soil. Plant in late spring, about two week after average last frost. Canary Bird Zinnias are great for cut and dried flowers and are also excellent in large pots and containers.
