Yucca - Color Guard
The Adam's Needle, 'Yucca filamentosa ‘Color Gard’, is a clump forming perennial with yellow strips down the middle of the dark green foliage, looking ribbon-like. In the winter months, the foliage turns pink. The creamy, bell-shaped, white flowers hover over the foliage and are fragrant. The red coloration on the long blades highlight the flowering crown. ‘Color Gard’ has a plant height of 24” and a spread of 36”. Leopard Plant - Przewalskii The Ligularia ‘Przewalskii Leopard Plant’, Ligularia przewalskii, has a wonderful clear, yellow daisy-like flower with huge leathery, toothed, heart-shaped, basal leaves. New leaves emerge purplish-red but turn to brownish-green. Blooming from July to August, ‘Ligularia Przewalskii’ has a plant height of 4’ and a spread of 36”. Ligularia ‘Przewalskii’ should be planted in full shade in a well-drained area. It must have moist soil and should never be allowed to dry out. |
