Zinnia - Cut & Come Again

The Zinnia Cut and Come Again, 'Zinnia elegans pumila', displays hot shades of orange, pink and scarlet flowers . Cut these old-fashioned blooms for your bouquets, and flowers will "come again", producing continuously from early summer until first frost. The 2 to 3 inch double flowers appear in shades of pink, rose, magenta, scarlet, orange, yellow, and cream. The zinnia plant is very easy to grow. For long hot summers, nothing beats zinnias for brilliant bloom color and long bloom period. The Cut and Come Again Zinnia is an annual plant that produces the best flowers in full sun. Zinnia elegans prefer rich, deep and well drained soil. For best results mix a high phosphorus, low nitrogen fertilizer in with the soil. Plant in late spring, about two week after average last frost.
